Repurpose what you have and check your inventory 🚨✅ We had just relocated a few months before Covid hit and I had given a lot of my dry goods to my adult children so we didn’t have to move it. The shutdown happened a few months later and I wasn’t able to get mylar bags fast enough. However, I was able to find a bunch of small mason jars so I use those instead. It’s been five years since I did that project and I’m now checking each jar for quality and contamination, and now I’m gonna transfer them to my order. The stuff I use more frequently like rice will be left on the kitchen counter to be used immediately. It’s important to remember to not only inspect your inventory regularly but also to repurpose things you already have.
